sunrise mart.

We made mini meringues for the White Dinner, sandwiched together with a white chocolate wasabi yuzu filling with candied orange peel. Trouble was, we didn’t have fresh wasabi (substituted wasabi paste, made from a powder) or fresh yuzu juice (substituted lime juice.) Well — we found a spot that has both, and so much more. Read about this fabulous little Japanese market over on Serious Eats.

  1. Oh, man, I used to love browsing in that place. Especially when we would sneak over to Angel’s Share next door afterwards.
